My Approach

Person centered

Person-centered theory assumes that humans are innately good and can develop independence, self-actualization and autonomy. I follow the belief that the client has the innate ability to lean into their growth.

Trauma-Informed

A trauma informed therapist is concerned with providing a safe, respectful, empowering environment and to avoid re-traumatization and triggers. My priorities are to provide a safe sensitive space where we can work on emotional regulation and move past these painful experiences.

Attachment - Based

I believe that early life experiences tend to shape our current relationships and dynamics with others. Together we can explore inter-personal dynamics and move through these patterns.

Creative Modalities

Art allows for the subconscious material to be explored and witnessed. Through art making we can externalized parts of ourselves and give them a chance to express themselves. It is my belief that creativity is an innate human ability and gift.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-focused therapy that helps individuals process and heal from distressing memories by using bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping. It supports the brain’s natural ability to reprocess traumatic experiences, reducing emotional intensity and fostering resilience.
